Mutua Universal considers Prevention with assessed contributions, a fundamental action to improve health and safety in the work of self-employed workers. For this reason, we offer all self-employed workers with Work-Related Accident and Occupational Disease cover documentation and tools that may help them in their daily routine.

Consulting in Prevention

  • Consulting in the use of the tool Prevención10/Prevention 25: instrument prepared by the INSHT with the goal of technical guidance and consulting in occupational risk prevention for small businesses and self-employed workers. Tool to help employers and self-employed workers know what they need to do to comply with the Occupational Risk Prevention Act.
  • Ongoing advice in occupational risk prevention.

Coordination of Preventive Activities

Spanish legislation with regard to prevention establishes that, when a self-employed worker coincides in a work centre with other self-employed workers or with workers from a company, s/he is obliged to fulfill a series of requirements that allow adequate coordination of the activities that take place in that work centre to avoid risk situations that can lead to accidents.

Tools in Prevention

Mutua Universal offers a series of tools for managing Occupational Risk Prevention that include online training, self-assessments of compliance with the regulations of Prevention, documentation and publications, as well as Technical Guidance Seminars both onsite and as webinars.
