What do you know about reproductive toxicity?

Some substances can be toxic to human reproduction.

In general, when we talk about reproductive toxicity, we think of women during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Nothing could be further from the truth: the effects can affect fertility in male and female adults, and to a lesser extent, the development of the offspring, including its subsequent growth and development.

For this reason, we have developed a guide for companies, with the objective of informing and helping to prevent these effects on the working population.

The toxic ones for the reproduction or reprotóxicos are subjects to specific legislation together with the carcinogenic ones and mutagens in the Royal Decree 665/1997 (fourth modification).
