Risk factors. How to prevent exposure

The risk factors that are related to musculoskeletal disorders are basically: exposure to repetitive movements, to forced postures (whether they are static or dynamic) and manual handling of loads, elements which are all common at work.

In addition, organisational, psychosocial and individual factors can contribute to their development.

Therefore, it is essential to take measures to increase awareness on how to avoid and/or minimise the impact of musculoskeletal disorders.
