National Plan against the radon (PNR)

The Directive 2013/59 /Euratom it establishes that member countries must promote and to approve a PNR, that collects policies to reduce the health risk of the town because of the exhibition to the radon in closed enclosures, are already housing, public places or work centres.

Countries as an Italy or France come fulfilling this obligation for years for it have fourth editions of its plans, as it is the case of France.

Spain from beginnings of 2024 has the first Plan to protect the health of the set of one the town when dealing with the risk derived from the exhibition to the gas radon, that it must be revised every 5 years.

Plan is articulated around five strategic axes:

1.- Knowledge and basic infrastructures

2.- Building

3.- Workplaces

4.- priority activity Areas

5.- Communication and raising awareness
