Established level for the radon

The reference level of radon in Spain established by the Royal Decree 1029/2022 in the interior of buildings is of 300 Bq/m3, although there are European countries that they have inferior levels. The WHO recommends 100 Bq/m3.

They are levels annual average of the concentration of the radon on the air, to compensate variations throughout the year arising from climatic conditions.

Between the 12 priorities measures that it establishes the European Code against the Cancer to contribute to prevent the cancer, the radon appears in the ninth place, recommending to the citizenship to know the level of radon in its address and to adopt measures to reduce it:
