Mutua Universal in figures

At the end of 2025, Mutua Universal reached a membership of more than 1.8 million protected workers (1,813,727), 2.7% higher than in the previous year, with 159,239 associated companies.

With revenue from social security contributions of €1.854 billion, up 4.25% from the previous year, the organisation ended 2025 with net assets totalling €397.13 million and a profit for the financial year available for distribution of €23.98 million, returning a total of €15.97 million to the General Treasury of the Social Security.

Mutua Universal has invested €9 million in the refurbishment and maintenance of its facilities and equipment—a network comprising 131 healthcare centres, two hospital monitoring centres in Madrid and Barcelona, and two inter-mutual hospitals in Bilbao and Valencia—which, in 2025, handled more than 1.3 million primary care visits, more than 507,000 rehabilitation sessions and 6,569 hospital admissions.
