Mutua Universal is pioneering in the application of the ergonomics to improve work conditions: from 1984 carries out specialised studies for companies of the industrial sector and of services.

Laboratory ergomía

In 2002 inaugurated the Laboratory of Ergonomics with the aim of consolidating an unit of continuous research, oriented exclusively to the contribution of useful solutions to problems of ergonomic origin that affect to the working environment.
The principals activity lines of the Laboratory of Ergonomics are:

• Applied research to the resolution of problematic ergonomic: work positions design and modification that are adapted to the person to delete risks and to increase the productivity.

• Elaboration of good practices: directed to solve existing problems in the positions of work and its later disclosure between all the business community.

• preventive Disseminating knowledge and culture: training, musculoskeletal prevention campaigns and specific publication elaboration.


Laboratory ergonomics

A multidisciplinary team with advanced means The Laboratory is made up of a multidisciplinary team of professionals in which collaborate engineers, physiotherapists and other specialists in occupational health. Its facilities are found in the centre of Mutua Universal in the industrial park
Arazuri-Orcoyen in Navarre and they appear of:

• technical Area: processed and data analysis, and design of solutions through a software specialised in the virtual simulation of environments of work.

• Workshop of simulations: design and I redesign of work positions before its implementation.

• Area of training: auditorium with skills for 120 people, for the celebration of meeting, courses and seminars technicians.

• testing and instrumentation Laboratory, equipped with the most modern instrument and complete for the record of the muscular activity, bodily angles, measurement of forces, inclination angles, parameters of environmental comfort, acoustic, analysis of the movement and other auxiliary techniques.
