Ionising radiations during pregnancy and breastfeeding
Published: 02/12/2015
Ionising radiations can produce biological effects on the body. Some effects depend on the dose received and some do not depend on a threshold dose. In the case of pregnant workers, additional measures must be applied to protect the foetus.
To protect both the woman and the future baby, it is necessary to correctly assess the exposure level in order to be able to adapt the work position and tasks to this new situation.
