Preventing risks from biological agents during pregnancy and breastfeeding

To protect a woman and her future baby, it is necessary to know the level of risk in the workplace, the type of exposure and the woman's immune status
so the most suitable protection measures can be adopted to deal with the new situation.
There are numerous work activities in which the exposure to biological agents is a risk factor for the health and safety of the workers that carry them out.
At the end of 2011, the INSHT published the document “Guidelines for the risk assessment and protection of the maternity at work” to help to the employer and at his service of prevention to carry out these missions.
