Because of its excellent characteristics, you can find in facilities very various and it has had wide variety of applications, as are material of friction, textile, electric isolations, thermal, etc.

It affords to maintain these materials already installed right up to the end of its service life, that between 30 and 50 years is estimated, depending on conditions of use, provided that they are in good condition and they do not present risk of freeing fibres of asbestos to the atmosphere.
