From 2020 , new works and interventions in existing buildings (already is extensions, use or refurbishment changes) are owed to carry out applying protective measures when dealing with the radon that they appear in the Construction technical code (CTE), established in the section HS6: “Protection when dealing with the exhibition to the Radon”.

According to the risk level of radon of the municipality where is been located/to, necessary actions to limit its entrance will be great: 

1.Zonas of risk I: between 300 and 600 Bq/m3.

2.Zonas of risk II: if they exceed the 600 Bq/m3.

Similarly, the Ministry of Transportations, Mobility and Agenda Urbana has published a guide to help to draughtsmen of works and owners in the adoption of preventive measures according to the CTE.
