Currently differentiate between the public accreditation and the privateaccreditation. Both prove to the companies/organisations that have integrated in its culture some management model that them gives tools to introduce strategies directed to promote the health in the workplace.

private companies give own management systems that they are certifiable on the basis of some criteria of evaluation designed by every certification one.

From the publicpoint of view , the National Health and Safety at work Institute has a procedure of accreditation free that it appears of two parts:

  • In the first place is owed to carry out the adherence in the Statement of Luxembourg, that it reflects the commitment of the company to initiate strategies aimed at the health promotion at work.
  • In the second place, is proceeded to the examination of good work experience programs in health promotion at work. This step is directed to those companies already associated with the Statement of Luxembourg that fulfill elaborate quality criteria for the European Network For Workplace Health Promotion (ENWHP). These organisations, can request the examination and the accreditation as a healthy company.
